Once named the "Emerald Island of the Caribbean" because of its Irish influence and lush verdant landscape, the 1995 eruption of the Soufiere Hills volcano forever changed this small island. These photographs, taken in 2005 and 2006 attempt to show how the island has changed in the years after the eruptions.

Many of the black and white images you're about to see are originally 35mm film negatives that were scanned and digitalized. Some faired better than others.
